Answers to common questions about using GrabbingCX for your WhatsApp business communication.

Our pricing structure is designed for transparency and flexibility, consisting of two main components:

1. Platform Subscription Fee This is a recurring charge (either monthly or annually) based on the plan you choose: Nature, Growth, or Enterprise. This fee gives you access to the Grabbing CX platform and all the features included in your plan. It is charged directly to your saved payment method (e.g., credit card).

2. Usage-Based Charges (from a Prepaid Wallet) To cover variable costs, you will maintain a prepaid credit wallet within your Grabbing CX account. Charges are deducted from this wallet for the following:

  • WhatsApp Conversation Fees: These are direct costs from Meta (WhatsApp) for the conversations you have with customers. The cost varies depending on who initiates the conversation (you or the customer) and the customer’s country.

  • AI Chatbot Charges (Optional): If you choose to enable advanced AI models like GPT for your chatbot, you will be charged based on your usage. This is also deducted from your prepaid wallet.

How the Prepaid Wallet Works:

  • For real-time interactions, such as 1-on-1 chats initiated by customers, charges are deducted from your wallet as they happen.

  • For broadcast campaigns, the estimated cost is deducted when you set the campaign live. If any messages fail to be delivered, the corresponding amount for those failed messages will be refunded to your wallet.

To ensure your conversations are never interrupted, we strongly recommend maintaining a minimum balance of $25 or more in your prepaid wallet.

In summary, your total monthly cost is:

Your Subscription Fee (charged to your card) + your Usage Fees for WhatsApp & AI (deducted from your prepaid wallet).

Instead of charging on a per-message basis, Meta (WhatsApp) charges based on conversations. A conversation is a 24-hour session during which you can exchange unlimited messages with a customer.

The 24-hour window begins the moment you send the first message to a user or reply to their message. You are only charged once per 24-hour conversation, making it cost-effective for follow-ups and support interactions.

The cost of a conversation depends on its category, which is determined by the type of message template you use to initiate it. There are four main types:

  • Marketing Conversations: For sending promotions, new product announcements, or offers to increase awareness and sales. (e.g., approximately $0.06 to $0.08 per conversation).

  • Utility Conversations: For transactional updates related to a user’s action, such as order confirmations, shipping alerts, or appointment reminders. (e.g., approximately $0.03 to $0.05 per conversation).

  • Authentication Conversations: For sending one-time passcodes (OTPs) to authenticate users during login or signup. (e.g., approximately $0.03 to $0.05 per conversation).

  • Service Conversations: Any conversation initiated by a customer’s message. These are ideal for handling customer support inquiries. (e.g., approximately $0.03 to $0.05 per conversation).

These conversation charges are dictated by Meta and are deducted directly from your Grabbing CX prepaid wallet.

Yes, you can use your existing WhatsApp application number or an existing WhatsApp API number with GrabbingCX.


How do I use my WhatsApp application number with GrabbingCX?

You might need to delete the WhatsApp account associated with the number you want to use for the APIs. This can be done in the WhatsApp application’s settings.


What if my number is already being used with another Business API?

If your number is currently used by another Business API, you can still migrate it to GrabbingCX. You will need to first disable the 2 Factor Authorization (2FA) PIN from your current Business Solution Provider (BSP).


What happens to my number after it’s linked to GrabbingCX?

Once your number is migrated to the WhatsApp Business API and linked to GrabbingCX, it can only be accessed through the GrabbingCX dashboard and mobile app.

If you’re using a virtual number tied to GrabbingCX, you can still make and receive normal voice calls. However, WhatsApp voice and video calls cannot be supported through the WhatsApp Business API.

Adding Credit to Your Account

You can add a balance of $56.64 or above from your dashboard. Navigate to App settings > WhatsApp credit.

The subscription involves recurrent payments.

The yearly subscription allows using the product included in it during one year from the date of purchase. When the year ends, the charges are taken to continue the subscription automatically.

If you’re using a Lifetime plan, the charges will be taken only once, and you’ll be able to use the product from the subscription and receive all the updates without any additional payments or charges taken.

Subscription charges and WhatsApp conversation charges are non-refundable.

You are eligible to request a refund only if the WhatsApp API fails to start on the dashboard.
